I’m a freelance journalist, writer and researcher with lots of experience in all things digital.
My work regularly features in the i paper, where I write about money every week. I also write about tech, travel and health.
In 2017, I investigated why waiting times for abortions in the UK are on the up. The four-month FOI-led project was published as an exclusive investigation on The Debrief and was later published in Grazia. It was also discussed on BBC Radio 5 Live, where I went on The Emma Barnett show to present my findings.
I’ve have bylines in InStyle, The Debrief, Grazia, The Next Web, the i paper and several zines I self-published between 2010-2012 (ha ha). In 2019, I’ll be writing a sex and relationships advice column on Fumble.
I also work as a researcher, helping clients reach their goal of writing a book (through research and/or transcribing interviews) or tracking down quality guests for podcasts. At the moment, I’m assisting with a project to launch a collective for freelance journalists. If you’re looking for an extra pairs of hands on a media project you’re working on, I’d like to help you too.
I write a bi-weekly newsletter about resourcefulness (covering topics such as saving money, living with less stuff and making the most of what you’ve already got). It’s called Resourceful – sign up to it here.
I co-host a podcast about sex and relationships called Girl Chat with my best friend. Please, Mum, for the love of God, don’t listen to it.
I have been writing on this blog since I was 15 years old. Please, reader, for the love of God, don’t scroll all the way back to 2011.
P.S. This blog is where I mostly share carefully-curated playlists and less carefully-composed rants. If that sounds like your bag, have a read of my latest posts or click here to see my professional clippings.
